Built for smooth sound

The ES60 speakers are constructed using high-quality materials to deliver natural sound with minimal distortion. For the high frequencies, it uses a 1-inch Terylene dome tweeter that is high-resolution, ensuring clear, highly detailed highs and a realistic reproduction of instruments and voices. The lower and mid-range frequencies are handled by three efficient 6-1/2 inch Dynamic Balance® woofers made from lightweight yet durable mica-reinforced polypropylene. To combat unwanted noise, the speaker cabinet is built from non-resonant MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) and features an anti-diffraction magnetic grille, which together significantly minimize vibration and distortion that could otherwise muddy the sound. Finally, Polk's proprietary Power Port technology is integrated to boost the bass impact, resulting in a deeper and much punchier low end.
